due to Hurricane Ian
Dear Art Community,
As we at WADA prepare for the potential effects of hurricane Ian, we prioritize the safety of our community of artists, the ArtsXchange and its buildings.
Based on the current predictions, our goal is to have the ArtsXchange building secured and closed tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 5pm. No access to campus will be allowed on Wednesday, Sept. 28, and Thursday, Sept. 29.
We have the benefit of planning in advance for the storm, but the situation remains unpredictable. We are continuously monitoring the forecast and will modify our plans should events change. Our preparations to close the ArtsXchange is in effect now. Should the storm path change we will notify you of any modifications by e-mail.
The following campus activities are suspended and will be rescheduled for a later date:
Most of us have faced hurricane threats in the past and know that it can be stressful.
Beyond the impacts to the ArtsXchange Campus, we hope that everyone and their families remain safe and have made personal preparations. We wish all of you well as we literally weather the storm and look forward to safely returning to the campus at the end of the week.
