Resources for Artists During the COVID-19 Outbreak

The Warehouse Arts District Association has compiled a list of resources to help artists and arts organizations.  This list will be updated as new information becomes available.

ARTIST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES



GRANTS & AWARDS

Artist Rescue Trust (A.R.T.) exists to provide support to musicians and artists whose ability to perform, tour and earn a living has been negatively affected by COVID-19. A.R.T. will provide $1,500 over three months to artists in need and amplify the stories, performances and creations they had hoped to share with the world before the pandemic limited their ability to do so. The Emerging Artist Relief Fund will address and offset the immediate and emergency financial need of young artists and arts administrators who have been displaced as a result of COVID-19. Eligible applicants must be under 30 years old (or) within three years of receiving a degree or certification (or) within three years of beginning work as an arts professional. All applicants must provide at least one sample of their artistic work or experience, and must be in dire financial need. Priority funding will be given to those in the following communities: BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) or Native, transgender, disabled or immuno-compromised, and those residing in rural areas. www.eaifund.com.

Creative Capital has joined forces with several national arts grantmakers to form Artist Relief — an initiative that includes immediate, unrestricted emergency funding of $5,000 for individual artists of all disciplines, and resources to help those in need due to the COVID-19 outbreak.  Creative Capital Artist Relief Fund

The Pinellas Arts Community Relief Fund provides rapid response awards to meet the urgent needs, and provide immediate financial relief to Pinellas County artists, arts organizations and creative businesses who have been impacted by an emergency situation/disaster we are facing, and, should the need arise and the resources be available, for future emergency situations as well. https://pinellascf.org/grants/arts-relief/

Foundation for Contemporary Arts

For as long as theBoard of Directors determines it is necessary and prudent to do so, the Foundation will disburse one-time $1,500 grants to artists who have had performances or exhibitions canceled or postponed because of the pandemic.  https://www.foundationforcontemporaryarts.org/grants/emergency-grants-covid-19-fund


CERF+ The Artists Safety Net

In light of the anticipated volume of requests for assistance, for the time-being, CERF+ ‘s emergency relief grants related to Covid-19 will focus on those infected with the virus that require intensive medical care. https://cerfplus.org/get-relief/apply-for-help/


Adolph and Ester Gottlieb Foundation

For visual artists working in the disciplines of painting, sculpture, or printmaking. Artists must demonstrate a minimum involvement of ten years in a mature phase of their work. Assistance is for a specific emergency, not a chronic condition, projects, or situations resulting from indebtedness or lack of employment. Foundation for Contemporary Arts

In light of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the artist community, the Foundation for Contemporary Arts is creating a temporary fund to meet the needs of experimental artists who have been impacted by the economic fallout from postponed or canceled performances and exhibitions.
