Celebrate Black History Month with the Legendary Count Basie Orchestra!

Join the Warehouse Arts District Association on Monday, February 24, 2025, for a day-long tribute to Black History Month featuring the iconic, Grammy-winning Count Basie Orchestra at St. Petersburg College Gibbs Campus Music Center. This year, the Orchestra celebrates its 90th anniversary and returns to St. Petersburg after 63 years!

Highlights include:

• 2:00 PM: Free community workshop with the Orchestra. Sponsored by EMIT
• 6:00 PM: Panel discussion, "Count Basie’s Soundtrack to the Civil Rights Movement." (free with ticket purchase)
• 7:30 PM: Concert. Tickets: $25 general, $20 WADA members, $35 at the door*
