Give Day Tampa Bay for the Warehouse Arts District

Join us for Give Day Tampa Bay! For 24 hours, from midnight to midnight on Tuesday, May 2, donors can make gifts online to participating nonprofits like the Warehouse Arts District! We will be eligible for incentives, bonuses and additional prizes throughout the day so your gift would be greatly appreciated.

Your donation will support the creation of affordable, sustainable artist’s studios, community and educational spaces called the ArtsXchange. We work to ensure that St. Pete artists have a place to create, teach and share their art in the heart of the city at sustainable rents.  Artists often serve as a catalyst for economic and urban development, yet a cyclical phenomenon occurs in cities nationwide whereby rents soar and artists can no longer afford the very neighborhoods they helped develop. 

Because of that trend, we are renovating 50,000 sq. ft. of warehouse into art studios and educational spaces of all disciplines to lease at affordable rents. We have a waiting list of more than 400 artists, from Florida and beyond with 24 tenant deposits ready to move in July 2017.  Additional funding is needed for continued renovation

What is Give Day Tampa Bay?

Give Day is a community-wide, online giving day hosted by The Community Foundation of Tampa Bay that will help our organization raise much-needed unrestricted dollars and celebrate the good work of all Tampa Bay nonprofits.
