Keep St. Pete Lit is hosting their fourth literary salon of the 2017-2018 season, a place for the community to engage with authors and explore new ideas.

Come join Connie Manson and Peter Chin, nationally acclaimed puppeteers, in an exploration of puppetry in community.

Learn to bring storytelling to life to evoke a timeless sense of wonder and possibility.

Explore the ways in which music can be used to enhance your narratives.

Founder and artistic director of Starlite Puppets since in 1990, Connie Manson has shared live acoustic music and the magic of puppetry professionally in numerous settings throughout North America.

A BFA in Theatre Arts and a Master's Degree in Waldorf Early Childhood education, support Connie’s desire to awaken delight and creativity as a performer and as an educator. She currently serves as a Parent Child and Grades Music Teacher for Suncoast Waldorf School, and has led puppetry and music workshops for homeschooling families, parents, and teachers at a number of Waldorf training centers throughout the United States. Connie is honored to share this work with her husband, retired Waldorf teacher and musician Peter Chin.
Starlite Puppets has most recently been featured in the Herald-Tribune, Pelican Press, Natural Awakenings, Positive Change and on Youtube with The Observer Media Group.

Connie’s puppetry & music resource series, A Journey Through the Seasons will be available for purchase at the salon.
