The Magic of Mixed Media Wild Woman Memory Keeper Workshop with e'Layne Kelley

At the workshop, each artist will be given a wood shape that with be collaged and she will become your Wild Woman Memory Keeper (as shown in the above middle picture).  You’ll receive an email about special items you might want to bring to adorn your Memory Keeper.  Our Memory Keepers become a visual representation of what we want to manifest in our lives and what feeds our souls.

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?

Sunday we will begin our day with demonstrations of different methods of gluing, tips on design, ways to unify your work with aging and paint methods, how to let your instincts guide your art, how to incorporate your photos in mixed media and much more.  We'll play, exploration and have fun.

WHAT I WILL SUPPLY and WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:

All supplies are included.  We will take a lunch break and eat at a local restaurant.  Lunch is not included in the price.  If you have any favorite paint colors, brushes, papers, stamps or embellishments to put on your memory keepers you can bring them along.  If not, I got your covered.  Also, you might want to bring photocopies or color laser prints of old or new photographs.  Wear clothes that you don't mind getting funky or bring an apron.  Getting messy is encouraged!

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

e’Layne Kelley is a mixed media collage artist who uses her photography and writing to embellish her art pieces.  Her work and articles have been published in Somerset Studio magazine.  e’Layne has a thriving wholesale business, Choose Good Thoughts, and teaches workshops as well as weeklong retreats.  She passionately supports women in manifesting the life of their dreams.  Her book, Craft Your Creative Life, is due to hit bookshelves in the spring of 2019.  She lives in South Pasadena, Florida and can be found online at elaynekelley.com and choosegoodthought.com.
