Learn the tricks of the trade with Warehouse Arts District member and ArtsXchange tenant, Carrie Smith. Carrie will teach you her strategies on to grow an Instagram presence and attract an audience of buyers to your page. She has grown her personal Instagram following to over 10k by posting excellent content in photos and videos, using IG Stories and collaborating with other social media sites. During this workshop Carrie will:
- Present the basics of Instagram
- Show demonstrations on how to post and use hashtags
- Explain how to cross promote on Instagram by connecting to other influences to gain more publicity, and
- Answer your specific questions following her presentation.
*Instagram is an online social media platform that creates an opportunity to network with collectors and viewers all over the world who are specifically interested in your type of art.
After registration and before class, download the Instagram App and set up a username
(Suggest using your business name as your username so you are easy to find)

Warehouse Arts District Association presents Professional Development for Artists Marketing Series, hosted by the Education Committee in the 2nd Floor Arts Incubator at the Arts Xchange Building.
There is ample free parking.
This seminar is free for current members of the Warehouse Arts District Association. A donation of $25 is suggested for non-members and will be applied toward membership fees for those who would like to join.
