Framing this iconic piece of steel history from the World Trade Center is a 25’ tall Phoenix Wing symbolizing rebirth. It sits atop a pile of white limestone, reminiscent of the crumbled concrete that littered ground zero in the aftermath of the attack. From this stone flows water, the fountain of life, to cleanse the past and allow a new future.

We want YOU participate in a community project that will make your experience part of history! Your contribution will last through the ages.
Join Artist Jeremiah Jacobs as he guides the creation of tiles for the backdrop of the Rise Project. There are thousands of tiles that need to be made for the project. We invite community members to come together to create tiles on July 31 at the Tully Levine Gallery at the ArtsXchange Campus on the Deuces Corridor.
Supplies and instruction will be provided. All we ask of you is your attendance and your help in making the Rise Project a reality.
