PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

WADA offers a free weekly community art class that is open to all ages and skill levels. Participants have the opportunity to learn from professional resident artists, who have a wealth of experience and knowledge to share. To ensure that everyone can participate, all art supplies are provided, and complimentary refreshments are available. This arts education program not only provides access to creative expression but also fosters a sense of community and connection through the shared experience of art-making.

This Saturday's class: Exploring Color with Janie Haskins

Effective use of color can create a mood, make a statement, or make your art feel more realistic and three dimensional. We’ll learn about the three properties of color and why they’re important. We’ll do an exercise to improve our observation skills, practice mixing paint and create a small painting.
