We will be joined by Reid Jenkins and a new organization, Curator's & Co. Following their presentations, we will be showing a film that features the life and work of Vincent Van Gogh. In life, like chess we take on roles. At times we are the king, in command of ourselves and our environment. In other moments we are but pawns unaware of our potential. This body of work explores the different roles we play, relating them to pieces in a chess game.
8:00 PM – 8:30 PM: Curator's & Co. Townhall
A new local company is launching to support artists in a new way and help place artwork everywhere. Curators & Co. is a subscription to local original artwork curated and swapped monthly in a range of spaces from businesses and hotels to homes and events. Learn how it works and how you can generate recurring income from your artwork before it sells. Meet the founders, get a sneak peek and early access before the launch.
8:30 PM: Outdoor Movie Screening Featuring a Vincent Van Gogh Film
As the evening progresses, we invite you to relax and enjoy an outdoor movie showcasing Vincent Van Gogh’s extraordinary life and art. Witness the beauty and emotion of his painting come to life on the AX Theater at WADA, providing a unique cinematic experience that will leave you inspired and awestruck.
