Saturday 9/9 from 6-10 PM: Dinner & A Movie (Tickets: $125 per person)
6-8 PM: Dinner & Tasting at Urban Stillhouse
Begin the evening with a dinner at Urban Stillhouse. Featuring a diverse menu including both classic and innovative options, guests can savor a relaxing culinary experience. Mingle and share stories with the Horse Soldier Team, Veterans, Special Ops, former Green Berets, and Navy Seals. Ticketholders are automatically entered into a raffle for a free Horse Soldier Whiskey Tasting.
8-9:30 PM: 12 Strong Co-Presented by Sunscreen Film Festival
12 Strong is a war drama based on true events, following a Special Forces team (Horse Soldiers) sent to Afghanistan after the 9/11 attacks. They must forge an uneasy alliance with local Afghan fighters to take on the Taliban and Al-Qaeda, embarking on a harrowing and heroic mission to defeat the enemy on horseback.
9:30-10 PM: Q&A with Horse Soldier Steve Kofron and LtCol USAF (Ret) Jerry Lavely.
12 Strong is followed by a Q&A with Horse Soldier Steve Kofron and LtCol USAF (Ret) Jerry Lavely, who were deployed in response to the events of 9/11. This opportunity will provide the audience with a chance to engage, ask questions, and gain insight into the real-life events that inspired the gripping story.
Sunday 9/10: Ceremony & Panel (Free RSVP Event)
10-11 AM: 9/11 Ceremony Surrounding the Rise Monument
Join us for our annual 9/11 ceremony as we pay tribute to the lives lost and heroes remembered, with a moving program including speeches by community leaders and Armed Forces personnel, color guard, the National Anthem, and an invocation.
11-12 PM: “Flip the Script” Panel Discussion
The 9/11 panel discussion will be uniquely led by the audience, allowing attendees to actively participate in the conversation by sharing personal reflections, asking questions, and engaging in a collective exploration of the impact and significance of the tragic events of September 11th. A panel of community leaders and experts will respond to the audience's statements.
