ERG and Markus Gottschlich Trio @ ArtsXchange Stage

Experience an evening of world-class music at the ArtsXchange Outdoor Theater! The night kicks off with a free workshop (5:00–6:00 PM) by the Markus Gottschlich Trio, followed by two exciting performances.

At 7:30 PM, the Markus Gottschlich Trio takes the stage, led by the “lyrical, high-energy, and risk-taking” (Albuquerque Magazine) pianist alongside Michael Washington (drums) and Mauricio Rodriguez (bass).

At 8:30 PM, ERG delivers a bold mix of avant-jazz and improvisation, featuring David Pate (sax & flute), Tom Kersey (cello), David Manson (trombone), Robert Strickland (bass), and Jim Stewart (drums & percussion). Inspired by Sam Rivers and Anthony Braxton, their performances move from fiery grooves to meditative soundscapes.
